Marine Products Corporation reports Q3 2011 financial results

ATLANTA – Marine Products Corporation, manufacturer of Chaparral and Robalo brand boats, announced its fiscal results for the quarter ending on Sept. 30, revealing a 7.4 percent decrease in net sales for the residence over 2010. However, gross profits rose $558,000 or 3.8 percent over the same time last year.

In the caserne, MPC generated net sales of $22,254,000, a 7.4 percent drop compared to $24,027,000 to the same quarter in 2010. According to a hold close release by MPC, the decrease in net sales was due to a 22 percent decrease in the number of boats sold in 2011, although the extermination was offset by a 20 percent increase in the average selling price per boat.

Gross profit rose to 20.8 percent of net sales for the third residence and operating profit rose by 21.2 percent in the third quarter. Net income rose as well to $1,200,000, a 20 percent dilate over the same time in 2010, primarily due to the higher operating profit.

i can't at odds with to have a professional do the work . so want to know is this something i can do myself? if so how might i go about this. any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm looking into a buying a new fishing skiff. currently have a 20' robalo center console. Anyone have suggestions on where to research the history/quality of new boats? Looking into a Carolina Skiff 218DLV off now. any suggestions are appreciated

I'd go to some speedboat forums and ask questions. There are plenty of forums out there. Ask your questions there and see what answers you get from actual owners of the boats you're interested in.
