I have to get in the zone. The working size needs to be ready for action. A comfortable seat and a table at the right height will be greatly appreciated by my trim back. Good lighting is a must, and an LED headlamp helps immeasurably. Rock and roll music, while not a necessity, is a receive addition. Freshly sharpened filet knives, a minimum of two, are mandatory. Now I am ready, a bucketful of bluegills miss to be filleted, and I am just the man for the task.

Many fishermen find cleaning the catch to be the least pleasant part of their favorite pastime. Some even be partial to to target species for which catch and release is the ethical choice, aimed towards maintaining a quality fishery, although I sometimes reckon its because those fish make lousy table fare. When was the last time you heard someone (other than Dan Aykroyd) say mmm-mmm, thats some tasty bass?

I seem to have acquired a notorious as a bit of a Fish Hog, and I do not take this as a slight, indeed to some degree

I have a 14ft V-bottom Lund fishing boat. Use it for fishing and whatnot. It is a rather basic boat, no previous wiring. Here is the setup I am thinking of doing..

What is the sum up current draw if all the items are on at the same time? Example, trolling motor 6 amps, lights 10 amps, cd trouper 5 amps. that ads up to 21 amps peak, might be better with a 30 amp main fuse and each branch perimeter has its own fuse

It would industry as a basic system. I would run circuit breakers on all sub-systems too. Particularly with bilge pumps and nav lights, as these are critical systems.

Base bar is good for secondary circuits.
Run a fuse block so each circuit is protected.
If you have a good charging system you have no problems.

It should vocation for most of what you want to do. I suggest that you run a separate set of wires for the trolling motor, put the fuse at the battery terminal, not at the buss bars. Then use bifurcate fuses for each circuit except the trolling motor which

Run an 80A coalesce at the battery end to protect the #4 GA.Put a 15A or 20A fuse on each small accessory load wire leaving your inform bar.The trolling motor will be your biggest load,it may need a 40 or 50A fuse.

Allof the answers look merit to me. Make sure to solder ALL connectors to wires for a good connection!! Do not overload any circuits....you end up doing it ALL again!!
