Help boost economy and win a boat
Shopping local this respite season will give folks in one south Georgia county a chance to win a new boat and a chunk of cash.
Berrien County Consortium of Commerce and Nashville Better Hometown leaders are raffling off a Chaparral boat and $15,000.
You can get a free ticket if you shop in the county and cause of in your receipts.
Befriend County Chamber of Commerce leaders say the historic building raffled off back in June sparked a lot of interest in the community. Now they're raffling off a brand new rowing-boat.
"We hope by offering our residents or anyone who chooses to come to Befriend County to shop for a chance to win such an precise prize that it will encourage our local residents to do a lot of their holiday shopping here as well," said Crissy Staley, the superintendent director for the Berrien County Chamber of Commerce.
It's called the H2O 18 Sport. Chaparral hopes the variety new series will create jobs for Nashville.
