Settlement reached in Tahoe pier dispute
Around HILL, Nev.—Environmental regulators and a Lake Tahoe property owner who has hosted events for a matchless conservation group have settled a dispute over environmental rule violations that stretch back to 2008.Tamara Fritz and the Tahoe Regional Planning Workings agreed to terms this week resolving violations between April 2008 and March 2011, the Tahoe Constantly Tribune ( http://bit.ly/s2lHUe ) reported Friday. They included an unauthorized pier expansion, the besides of a secondary boatlift, unauthorized storage, snow removal from unpaved areas and violation of finish-and-desist orders at a residence and vacant parcel owned by Fritz in Tahoe City.
Fritz's lakefront peculiarity is the site of the annual Oscar de la Renta Fashion Show, an event that raises hundreds of thousands of dollars for the economy group League to Save Lake Tahoe.
The settlement requires Fritz to pay $35,000 to the TRPA within 30 days and resuscitate the vacant property and remove the boatlift no later
