Is there a special type of caulk specifically for repairing seams on aluminum boats?

Comely much a MIG welder is the best. All sealants and caulking will be temporary - Sikaflex will work but you expect it to fail sooner or later. Only employ to the exterior. If a seam has split it needs welding. If one of the press together seams

Repairing HOle in Aluminum Boat without welding?

We have a lund aluminum speedboat that has a leak on the bottom where a livewell screw used to be. I need help getting that hole plugged up without the use of welding. I am lookng for a maker of plug kit/ product...htat will plug the hole, so there is

I have an aluminum jon knockabout that is pretty old, but does it's job to get me around in my pond at home. It has a lot of little holes in it and I can't find all of them. The ones I did find I patched up with JB Weld The highest Weld putty and it worked
hey man, you could fiberglass the bottom of the rowing-boat but that gets expensive. most likely the leaks are coming from the seams around the rivits and you could fill up the boat with water (on top of some saw horses) and find about where the leaks

OK Shannon here's the large. If It is a riveted boat you can take a sledge hammer and lay it on one side of the rivet and take a second hammer and smack the opposite side for a touchy fix and squish, no more leaky rivet. If it is a hole you can use aluminium
