The quaff plug is missing and the back where you mount an outboard has rotted out. Where can i get this plug and a new wooden back that fits? Thanks.
You can storm a new transom out of a couple layers of 1/2" plywood. First dig all the old wood out using your cutting implement of choice. Then cut new pieces to fit. Saturate 'em in fiberglass resin (no catalyst added) - the more they absorb

Certainly used. Horsepower, who makes it, and how old it is will make a big difference. Your aluminum boat is probably 12 to14 foot I contemplate, so I would get a least get a 10hp which will probably be around 250.00 and up.

I've had a Defender bass boat forever, but today I bought an aluminum G3 boat that was so cheap I couldn't pass it up. The G3 is aluminum. What are the pros and cons?
Aluminum boats are cheaper and are precise for fresh water fishing. They will ding if you hit a hard object. Small dings aren't strict to repair, but large dings are difficult to get back to original condition. Aluminum boats are easier to construct,
