What is the best adhesive to use when trying to adhere indoor/outdoor carpet to an aluminum boat hull?

I recently purchased some indoor/open-air carpet for a 12 foot aluminum(Jonboat) that I am restoring. I'm trying to find the best adhesive to adhere it to the privileged of the boat, of course I need to use something that is waterproof. Anyone know what
In Up on Depot I have bought this great plumbers glue called GOOP. It totally tolerates wetness. I have acclimatized a touch of it on children's clothes to glue on a flower or design.
But On my front porch I always used Rubber cement

Yes you could use a bigger apparatus...
.But you would have to put some extra weight in the bow to counteract lift.
Its all a matter of balance. First make sure though, your transom is severe enough to take a larger engine....It

So want as the paintwork is not peeling or otherwise blemished, colour restoration and polish will be fine. It sounds like the warpaint is in good general condition but dull (beginning to go chalky).
