Has anyone seen a Yamaha marine jet installed in a boat besides their own product?

Been searching for boats that have Yamaha jet drives. I can only find Yamaha boats. Can anyone lift?

if you're talking inboard app., that's all there is. i have installed many outboard pumps on other hulls.

Looking to find a Yamaha Boat Thermostat somewhere other than a dealership.

My b/f & I own a Yamaha 1999 boat. It's got an outboard 250 Hp machine. We're trying to save $$ and do our own maintenance this year but are not sure where purchase a new thermostat besides dealerships? We'd merely like to find something reliable and fairly cheap!

I would have to debate with the previous response, don't sell your boat! Yamaha can be harder to find parts for outside dealers. There is an website that actually specializes in aftermarket thermostats called:

You may necessity to check out their site, if you know the specs of your boat you can look and see if they carry the specific thermostat you need.

Have a 2005 40 HP Yamaha boat motor. Just had carbs done, now the red oil light is on, stays solid red, why?

No indication buzzer, engine runs great. Water coming out warm to slightly hot intermittently (Not too hot to put your pass on in the stream.

Thermostat, oil filter, oil injection line are all ok and functioning properly.

Any ideas why light is on?

There may be a trifle away wire to that sensor...Things usually accidently get knocked lose...Just check all your wire plugs

the over heating light is on the 30 hp 2stroke YAMAHA boat motor?

How do you fix . The piddler seems to be working and the effervescent water is coming out, what eles could it be

I would conform with above. particularly the water pump, they are made to be easily changed

but . . ..... if you have water coming out the piddler slum, that is a baffler.
how warm is water coming out? you should be able to hold your hand in the stream, it is not called a pee hole for nothing.

If it is boiling hot (be wary) then perhpas you are not getting enough water through. Check the intake grate of the water system, it that is clear it might be that the pump is working but not exciting enough water to meet the needs of the engine.
You can use compressed air and back blow the system from the piddler hole, if things are plugged wiht a bit of moss or seaweed this may dislodge it.

If the wastefully coming out of the discharge hole is warm but not hot, it may be somehtign as simple as the sensor unit giving the indication light a false indication.
