IF you skilled in how to handle a boat in all situations, like taking on big waves ( 4 ft Plus ) in a zig zag pattern and not head on...that rig is elegant as long as you stay aware of the weather conditions at all times ( be observant) That boat is made for walleye fishing so can grip that lake just fine.
Make sure you have all safety equipment and meet and safety standards for Canada.
Only suspect I would have about your rig is it seems to be a little underpowered, not saying that is bad, but something you will have to take into consideration if a storm should appear.
New boat to you, so make sure you are very familiar with all the systems and that everything is in godlike working condition, and you have a basic idea of how to do any on the water repairs that may occur, and have the parts. (fuses, uncommonly trolling motor prop and pull rope, etc.)
Have fun, be safe and catch lots of fish

I have a 17.5 ft aluminum Lowe Sea Nymph that I use on Lake Ontario, but only on hush days. Sure, I can go out when the winds are pushing 15 knots, but it's no fun because you have to work your way diagonally (zig-zag) through the waves when prosperous into the wind. If you are fighting a large salmon you might have to steer directly into the wind and then you will risk being swamped. The waves on Lake Ontario can well exceed 4 ft. I agree with one of the other posts - your boat seems more than a little under-powered for L.O. I have a 115 hp Johnson two stroke on my boat so if I see a storm coming I can get off the lake rather quickly - but even at 40 mph (60 mph) the shore can be very far away.
Keep an eye on the weather, get a VHF radio, and check the marine out of sorts before you go out, either NOAA or Environment Canada.
