Can a 30 hp outboard on a 14' V hull aluminum boat water ski someone 160 pounds?

on two skis but as likely as not not slalom

I am thinking of purchasing a 16 Xcaliber Legend aluminum boat. Is a 50 4-stroke enough power to get around?

This boat will be worn strictly for fishing and no water skiing. Will a 50 be able to handle Lake Simcoe or the shore square of Lake Ontario? If not would the 50 4-stroke Big Foot do the trick?

if all your gonna do is go fishing yes it will be lots of power...
but the question would be how many people or cargo weight will be on board with you... also make sure that the bark you are putting this outboard on is rated for a 50 or higher hp.

if i put a 25 hp motor on a 14 foot aluminum boat would it be possible to kneeboard behind it or ski possibly? and a;so could the hull take the stress of towing someone and the 25 horses at the same period

I acclimated to to use a 20 hp 2-stroke on a 14 ft aluminum boat to pull 10 - 14 yr old kids on knee boards and skis. The boat seemed to tackle the stress ok ... I added a knee brace at the middle of the transom to the floorboard and keel in systemization to transfer the extra stress. The weight of the outboard wasn't a problem .. I against a tiller extension and had a spotter in the bow.

Where can you get those small aluminum rowboats with a small outboard?

I have a tahoe Q3 fish/ski that I fondness, but I'd like to do some pond hopping and lake hopping, and would like to get one of those small aluminum boats that can hold 1-4 people, where you can put a 5-15 HP mechanism on the back to scoot around a bit. I've gone to a few boat shops and looked online but for some reason I'm not having any luck. Do they have a specific name? Where can I buy one?
