if i put a 25 hp motor on a 14 foot aluminum boat would it be possible to kneeboard behind it or ski possibly? and a;so could the hull take the stress of towing someone and the 25 horses at the same circumstance
I acclimatized to use a 20 hp 2-stroke on a 14 ft aluminum boat to pull 10 - 14 yr old kids on knee boards and skis. The boat seemed to wield the stress ok ... I added a knee brace at the middle of the transom to the floorboard and keel in rank to transfer

You can do it, but you would have to ballast the bow and slope the enging down to keep her trim. Check the certification plate, it will tell you how big an engine is allowed for the boat.

sounds unsteady to me. most 14' boats won't hold a 25hp motor in the first place. try it in a place you can retrieve everything if things go wrong.

I have a tahoe Q3 fish/ski that I taste, but I'd like to do some pond hopping and lake hopping, and would like to get one of those small aluminum boats that can hold 1-4 people, where you can put a 5-15 HP machine on the back to scoot around a bit. I've

When I started on the boat I had to firs assassinate the aluminum and rubber strip the sealed the top and bottom of the boat together. When I took it off it curled because some screws were rested and missing heads so I had to pry them off. Does anyone
Some use swimming consolidate noodles under the deck.
