Highland fishing duo strikes again
Both ITT Classics quality 50 to 55 competing boats. Illini Team Trail is the largest bass fishing outline in the state and consistently has the biggest payouts.
"It's pretty unbelievable what we have been ale to accomplish," said Brad Kirchhoff, who turns 55 on Oct. 25. "There is something about Kentucky Lake that fits our fishing configuration. We like to go back and forth between the shallows and the deep. And I have to give a lot of credit to Josh. Josh is probably the biggest rationality we have done so well. He puts in a lot of time studying the maps of the lake, scouring the Internet and television and sharpens all the hooks. So, he helps us move up with a good game plan before we ever even get to the lake.
"I would like to say I taught him everything he knows, but he has learned a lot from the Internet, magazines and goggle-box. He puts in a lot of work because he is always looking to get better. I call him the 'fishing machine.'"
Last year, the father-son team took more recent place at the 2010 Bass World Sports Tournament Association Classic and won a boat and trailer.
